Privacy and Data Protection

Last updated:

This notice explains what personal data is processed through www.7maat.com. It is short because little is collected: the site carries no advertising network and no tracking pixel. Two analytics tools count visits; one of them runs only with your agreement, writes cookies and transfers data abroad. Both are described separately below.

Who processes your data

7maat Gıda Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi, Milli Egemenlik Mah. Güneylioğlu Cad. 71/1, Manavgat, Antalya, Türkiye.

When you use the enquiry form

The form processes the name, email address, country, role and message you enter. The IP address the request came from and the language of the page are recorded with it.

This data is used only to answer your enquiry and to prevent abuse. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and 5(2)(f)).

Form data is not stored on the server. It is delivered straight to the company mailbox and kept there for as long as the business relationship requires.

It is never used for marketing, never sold and never passed to third parties.

The form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell a person from a bot it sends your IP address and browser identification to Cloudflare; it sets no cookies, and the content of your message is never sent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).

When you visit the site

Server access logs record your IP address, the address requested, the date and time, your browser identification and the referring address. They exist for security and fault diagnosis, and are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Visits are measured by two tools. The first is Cloudflare Web Analytics: it sets no cookies, builds no visitor profile and does not fingerprint; it counts in aggregate.

The second is Google Analytics 4, and it runs only if you agree to it. If you do, it writes cookies, and on every page you open it sends your IP address, your browser identification, the address you are viewing and the referring address, if any, to servers belonging to Google LLC in the United States. The purpose is to see which pages are read from which countries; it is not used to show advertising or to personalise anything. The cookies it writes, and how to block them, are described in the next section.

Cookies and browser storage

There are no advertising cookies, and no cookie on this site is used to show you ads.

For visit measurement, Google Analytics writes two cookies: "_ga" and one whose name begins with "_ga_". Both last two years by default and serve to count whether the same browser has visited before. They are written only if you choose "Accept" on the bar shown on your first visit. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded, no request reaches Google and no cookie is written.

You can change your mind later: the "Change cookie choice" link at the foot of every page reopens the question. You can also block or delete the cookies in your browser's cookie settings; nothing on this site stops working. Google's opt-out add-on, which applies across all sites, does the same: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Only when you change the language is a "locale" cookie written, lasting one year, to remember that choice. It is a user-interface preference cookie set on your explicit action, and is exempt from the consent requirement.

Your browser also stores your light or dark theme preference and whether you dismissed the language suggestion. Neither is sent to the server; clearing your browser data removes both.

The map

The map on the contact page is served by OpenStreetMap. Loading it discloses your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. It was chosen over Google Maps precisely because it sets no tracking cookies.

Service providers and transfers abroad

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data in doing so. Email is hosted by Zoho, and enquiries arrive on servers within the European Union.

Visit statistics come from Google Analytics 4. In that context your connection and usage data are processed by Google LLC in the United States, which means they are transferred outside Türkiye and the European Union.

These providers act as processors. Transfers are made only as far as delivering the service requires, under the safeguards the applicable law provides for.

Your rights

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to have processing restricted, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form (GDPR Art. 15–22; KVKK Art. 11).

Send requests to info@7maat.com. They are answered within thirty days at the latest.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, or with the supervisory authority of your country if you are in the European Union.

Changes

This notice is updated whenever the way the site handles data changes. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
