Working model
How we work, step by step
Nine steps run between your first message and a standing order. Each has to close before the next opens, and any of them can end the conversation — which is the point of taking them in this order. Below, each step in full: what we ask you for, and what we do with it.
- 01
Product and supplier introduction
The first exchange is written, and it is short. We want to know what you make, how much of it you can make and to which specification — before either side spends money on samples or on flights.
- What you provide
- Your company profile, your product range, your capacity and the specification you produce to.
- What we do
- We read it and we answer, including when the answer is that we are not the right buyer for it.
- 02
Preliminary commercial assessment
We put the product next to what is already on sale in Türkiye: who buys it, through which channel, and whether the landed cost leaves anything between your factory gate and that shelf. Regulation is looked at in the same breath, because a product that cannot clear customs has no commercial case to discuss.
- What you provide
- An indicative price and the commercial terms you normally sell on.
- What we do
- We tell you what the Turkish market looks like for that product, and whether we see a place for it.
- 03
Documentation and compliance review
Certificates, analysis reports and the product file are reviewed before anything moves. This is where a promising product most often stops — and it is far cheaper for both of us that it stops on a desk than at a port.
- What you provide
- Your existing certificates and analyses, the ingredient or material declarations, and the label artwork.
- What we do
- We check them against what your product needs in order to enter Türkiye, and we list what is missing.
- 04
Sample evaluation
Physical samples are assessed against the specification agreed in writing, not against the photographs. Where the product is judged by the buyer rather than by us, we put the sample in front of that buyer.
- What you provide
- Samples from ordinary production rather than from a show batch, with their batch details.
- What we do
- We assess them and give you the result in writing, including what would have to change.
- 05
On-site factory visits and personal contact
We do not believe long-term trade can be done over email alone. Within a short time we visit your production facilities in person — to see the line running, to understand your business culture on the ground and to sit at the table ourselves. For us that is the first condition of an unshakeable partnership, not a ceremony at the end of one.
- What you provide
- Access to the facility, and time with the people who actually run it.
- What we do
- We come to you. The people who make the visit are the people who take the decision.
- 06
Commercial negotiation
Terms, Incoterms, payment and packaging are agreed in writing, in one document, before the first order. We would rather spend another week here than discover, with the container already loaded, that one sentence meant two things.
- What you provide
- Your price structure, minimum quantities, lead times and packaging options.
- What we do
- We write down every point agreed, and we hold ourselves to what is written.
- 07
Mixed container and market test
The first large step is taken with our mixed-container model, which keeps the risk small on both sides. Combining different product groups in a single shipment lets us measure the real reaction of the market with concrete data instead of forecasts, and that mutual test is what makes the later single-line, high-volume orders safe to place.
- What you provide
- A first quantity that fits beside other product groups in one container.
- What we do
- We take it into the market ourselves and report back what sold, to whom and at what price.
- 08
Quality control and shipment
Inspection, loading and the complete document pack. The check happens before the container closes, because a fault found after arrival is a fault nobody can still fix.
- What you provide
- Loading to the agreed specification, and the full document set travelling with the goods.
- What we do
- We inspect, we match the documents against the requirement word for word, and we carry the import side.
- 09
Regular purchasing programme
Once the first cycle has proven itself, repeat volumes are placed on an agreed schedule. This is what the whole sequence exists for: orders you can plan production against, on the low-margin, high-turnover principle we work by.
- What you provide
- Reserved capacity, and the same quality in the last batch as in the first.
- What we do
- We plan our purchasing ahead, and we tell you early when it changes.
When a step does not close
Any of the nine can end the conversation, and several of them do. We say so directly and we say why — a manufacturer who hears a clear no early has lost far less than one kept waiting on a maybe. Nothing on this page is a promise of volume: every stage stays subject to commercial and quality approval, on both sides.
